Vanessa L. Market Harkness, age 39, of Bellevue, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 10, 2022, at the Cleveland Clinic at Fairview, after a lengthy illness.
She was born January 29, 1983, in Sandusky, and attended Margaretta Schools. Vanessa was a delivery driver for Pizza Hut, Bellevue. She was a lover of all animals; especially butterflies and unicorns, and enjoyed showing Belgian draft horses with her parents and growing plants at home.
She is survived by her parents Sheila (Ensign) and Steve Harkness, loving companion of six years, Brandon Bor; daughter Serena Edwards; son Noah Bor; maternal grandfather Robert Ensign; paternal grandparents Gerald and Barb Harkness; aunts Kathy (Rick) Bauman, Kris (Beaver) McCullough, and Karen (Dam Graves) Teeple; specials cousins Deb Zorn and Kristin Grochowski; many other cousins; and her precious dogs Rusty and Gaia.
Vanessa was preceded in death by her father Charles R. Market; maternal grandmother Margaret (Gillingham) Ensign; paternal grandmother Helen Market; great grandmother LaVerne Harkness; and aunt Karen Market.
Friends may call from 11 AM until time of memorial service at 2 PM, Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St. Castalia.
At the request of Vanessa, she would like everyone in attendance to celebrate her life by wearing bright colored clothing to the services.
