Robert C. Parker

Robert “Bob” C. Parker, age 73, of Castalia, went to be with the Lord Monday morning, March 22, 2021, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.

He was born April 13, 1947, in Sandusky, and graduated from Margaretta High School.  He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Sandusky, and was in the National Guard.  Bob worked at Mathews Ford for more than 40 years and also was the driver and handyman extraordinaire at Home Brew Ohio.  He loved anything and everything his grandchildren were interested in and he also enjoyed tractor pulling in the OSTPA and NTPA.  Bob was a big Cleveland Browns fan. 

He is survived by his wife Faith (Blake) Parker; daughters Paula (Thomas) Collier, Karen (Tad) Daniel, and Marlene Parker; grandchildren Nicholas Armour, Jared Collier, Zachary Armour, Jacob Collier, Chase Daniel, and Parker Daniel; sisters Jeanette (James) Toft, Ruth (Walter) Franklin, and Clara (David) Bailey; brothers John (Lyn) Parker, Charles (Bonnie) Parker, and Richard (Shari) Parker; many brothers in-law and sisters in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Foster and Marie (Graves) Parker, and brother James Parker.

Friends may call from 4-7 PM Friday, March 26, 2021, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, where services will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at 10 AM.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
