Richard C. Wuertz

Richard “Dick” Wuertz, 82, of Sandusky, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, at his residence following a brief illness.

He was born Jan. 26, 1941, in Sandusky, and was a 1959 graduate of Margaretta High School. He was a supervisor at Ford Motor Company, Sandusky, for over 30 years.

He was a member of the Huron Yacht Club, American Legion, Huron Eagles, Sandusky Elks, and a lifetime member of the Sandusky Ski Club. He loved to boat, fish, golf, and ski.

Dick is survived by 2 sisters Bev Fox and Nancy (Steve) Molnar; one brother Larry Wuertz; several nieces and nephews including Kathleen Boughton, Andy Bing, and Chris Bing; and brother- in- law Paul Bing.

He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Bing Wuertz; parents Charles and Viola Wuertz; and one sister Sharon McNichols.

It was Disk’s wish to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4pm Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, OH.
