Patricia P. Dahm, age 89, of Castalia, died Wednesday morning, February 21, 2018, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, following a brief illness.
She was born May 18, 1928, in Toledo, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1946. Patricia was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Castalia. She was the Clerk/Treasurer for the Village of Castalia, for 20 years and volunteered for the American Red Cross for many years. She enjoyed to go fishing and boating with her husband, Richard; and she also loved to sew, crochet, paint china and ceramics, and later in life, she took up chair caning.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Richard Dahm; daughter Carol (Jack) Weyer, Wooster; four sons John (Sharon) Dahm, Castalia, Joel Dahm, Sandusky, David Dahm, Sandusky, and Mark (Pat Lewis) Dahm; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents John and Florence (Nagle) Braun; infant daughter Amy; sister Audrey Hoover; and brother Wayne Braun.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018, at 11 AM in Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Rev. Kathleen Suggitt will officiate. Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery at a later date.
