Mary "Suzie" (Schwartz) Zachman

Mary Suzanne "Suzie" Zachman, 57, departed this life for her heavenly home January 24, 2021, at the Ohio State James center after a brief and sudden illness.

She was born to Roy and Mary Elmeda (Nutter) Schwartz on January 17,1964 in Sandusky, Ohio. A 1982 graduate of Margaretta High School she also attended the Ohio State University. From there she began her life in Troy,Ohio where she raised her 3 children. She was a member of the Ginghamsburg Church in Tipp City where she was actively involved in church and choir. She was employed with Panini in Centerville, Ohio where she had worked for 14 years. She loved spending time with her children, granddaughter, friends, and also visiting her hometown to spend time with family. She was a lover of nature, the beach, traveling, wineries, hunting and of living life to its fullest.

She is survived by her mother Mary "Elmeda" Schwartz of Castalia, Ohio, her loving children, Ethan Zachman of Troy, Ohio, Lexi Zachman (Wes Baiz) of Toledo, Ohio, Brianne Zachman of Dublin,Ohio and her granddaughter Lana Baiz, who was her pride and joy. Her brothers Jeff Schwartz of Castalia,Ohio, Nathan (Melanie) Schwartz of Helena,Ohio, and sister Melissa (Chris) Dawson, of Castalia, Ohio., Her significant other Gary Mitchell of Jackson Center,Ohio. Nieces Sarah,Tabby,Alyssa,Paige, nephews, Eric,Thomas, and many great nieces,nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, whom she all loved dearly and will be greatly missed by.

She is preceded in death by her father Roy Schwartz.

Services will be held Thursday January 28,2021 at 11am at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Services 610 S. Washington St., Castalia and officiated by Pastor Dave Brown.
