Margaret E. “Maggie” Loroff, age 96, of Castalia, passed away Sunday afternoon, November 26, 2023, after a brief illness.
She was born November 7, 1927, in Castalia, and graduated from Margaretta High School in 1945. Maggie was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Castalia, and lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by fifteen nieces and nephews Anita Leczo Csinsak, Mary Lu Endle Stone, Barbara Endle Himes, Marcia Braun Juengel, Lamont Braun Jr., Cynthia Braun Franklin, Roger Braun, Julie Braun Barth, Elizabeth Braun, Bill Babisak, Ann Babisak, Janet Babisak, Dennis Loroff, Tom Loroff, Rich Loroff, and Dan Loroff; many great nieces and nephews.
Maggie was preceded in death by her husband Frederick Loroff; parents James and Maria (Lencses) Babicsak; three sisters Clara Leczo, Edith Endle, and Elsie Braun; four brothers James Babicsak, Julius Babicsak, Alex Babicsak, and Joseph Babicsak.
Graveside services will be at 11 AM Friday, December 1, 2023, in Castalia Cemetery. Pastor John Paputza will officiate. Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
