Linda Richardson, of Lexington Ohio went home to be with Jesus, the Lord on April 26, 2021. Linda spent her life serving people as a reading teacher at Seneca East, and an elementary principal at Washington Local, Mount Gilead Local and Mansfield City Schools. Linda’s life is a legacy of ministry, education was not a position but a mission to serve every parent’s most cherished possession. After she retired from education she served as a volunteer in Mansfield’s hospitals for ten years.
Linda was very involved in church; Jesus was a daily way of life not a ritual on Sunday mornings. She lived her love of Christ by a continuous service to people. She was not about personal accolades and even in her death requested no formal service. A celebration of life is being considered at a later date. If you want to do something in Linda’s memory, please go do something special for someone. Bring a smile to a heart. Linda leaves her husband Ray, son Jeremy, his wife Jenny, and granddaughter Alexa.
Celebrate the Journey
Celebrate and cling to today’s journey. Search for the special moment in every experience, wrap your heart around the worthwhile. Sift through the routine, fine the good in something you might have overlooked or taken for granted. Look for every act of kindness, the ones you initiated. And the ones that you witnessed from others even if you were not the recipient. Focus on the warm glances, not the frowns. When you share the story of your day do not relive the anguish. Be grateful for the nuggets even in the challenges. Highlight the possibilities even if you must search to find them. People will speak of your positive attitude. You will know it is all about what you choose to see, the meaningful or the mundane. It will reflect on your outlook for tomorrow, your memories and your forever.
Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
