Lee H. (Ballard) Smetzer

Lee H. Smetzer, age 73, of Bellevue, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at her residence, following a lengthy illness.

She was born December 31, 1946, in Sandusky, and graduated from Monroeville High School in 1964.  Lee retired from Nationwide Insurance and was a proud wife, mother, and homemaker. 

She is survived by two daughters Nickole Leonard and Cynthia (John) Kurt; son Adam (Michelle Perez) Smetzer; eight grandchildren Troy (Kara), Samantha, Trent, Faythe, Kaine, Hannah, Hope, and Owen; one great grandchild Adilyn; two sisters Mary (Dan) Lauber and Becky Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Lee was preceded in death by her husband Sheldon Smetzer; parents Lyle and Alberta (Hale) Ballard; and daughter Ericka Smetzer.

Graveside services will be held at later date in Parkhurst Cemetery.  Ransom Funeral & Cremation Services, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
