Jason Smercina Obituary

Jason Ray Smercina, 45, of Sandusky, died Monday morning in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.

He was born October 7, 1975 in Sandusky, and graduated from Vermilion High School. Jason was a free lance artist.

He is survived by his mother Delores Summers of Sandusky; 1 daughter Kyli Smercina of Huron; 1 son Logan Smercina of Huron; 1 sister Samantha Smercina of Sandusky; 1 brother Fabian Smercina of Vermilion; nieces Hazel Deverna, McKenzi Smercina; nephews Brock Smercina, and Kaleb Smercina; Uncles Steve, Bill, and Chris Conley; and Aunt Tammy Conley.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Jackie Ray Conley; paternal grandparents Augusta Glen and Elizabeth Conley; and maternal grandparents Paul Summers and Tincy Summers.

Family services will be held in Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.
