Jason E. Heishman

 Jason E. Heishman, 53, of Vickery, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, Dec. 3, 2023, at his residence.

He was born November 12, 1970, in Fremont, and was a 1989 graduate of Margaretta High School. He was a mechanic and maintenance technician for the Heinz Company for 8 years. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. A hardworking man, he always tried to bring out the best in others.

Jason is survived by his wife, the former Terri Ross; 3 sons Billy (Paige) Heishman, Austin Heishman, and Garrett Heishman; step-son Austin Orshoski; grandson Greyson Heishman; sister Julie (Bill) Talbot; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Velma Heishman, brother Joe Heishman, and sister Susan Marshke.

It was his wish to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-5pm Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, at Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, OH. Burial will be later in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.
