Jack L. Huffman

Jack L. Huffman, age 81, of Sandusky, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday August 11, 2024, at Parkvue Healthcare Center, Sandusky, following a brief illness.

He was born June 21, 1943, in Dickenson County, VA, and graduated from Coeburn High School.  He was member of Wayside Temple, Castalia, and was an inspector for Ford Motor Company for 30 years, retiring in 1993.  Jack loved his church and loved going to church, he enjoyed singing the “old” hymns and gospel music with his quartet, and Jack loved going fishing. 

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lula Huffman; daughters Karen (John) Lee and Deanna (Doug) McClellan; grandson Matthew McClellan; and many nieces and nephews.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents Johnie and Annette Huffman; and three brothers Harold, Benny, and Ronald Huffman.

Friends may call from 6-8 PM Friday August 16, 2024, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, and from 9 AM until time of services at 10 AM Saturday August 17, 2024, at Wayside Temple 3809 Maple Ave., Castalia.  Pastor Rusty Yost will officiate.  Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
