Gary "Doug" Locke

Gary “Doug” Locke, age 55, of Sandusky, passed away Thursday morning, April 24, 2025, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after a brief illness.

He was born February 15, 1970, in Greenville SC, and graduated from Margaretta High School in 1988.  Doug was a tow motor operator for ThorWorks, Sandusky.  He was very family oriented and loved spending time with them; he also enjoyed watching the football on TV, especially the Cleveland Browns. 

He is survived by his wife Kim (Trimble) Locke; two sons Logan (Halee) Locke, and Cory Locke; granddaughter Aurora Locke; two sisters Debbie (Michael) Mielcarek, and Linda (Steve) Likes; brother Bobby (Karyn) Locke; and many nieces and nephews.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Mary (Gillespie) Locke; sister Brenda Clark; and nephews Gary Keegan, Brian Ayers, and Tommy Finlay.

There will be no services.  Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
