Charles Henry House

Charles Henry House, age 46, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 26, 2023, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.

He was born April 14, 1977, in Sandusky, and graduated from Heath High School in 1995.  He worked as a tool and die maker at US Tsubaki, Sandusky.  Charles enjoyed spending time with his children and watching all their sporting and school events; he also liked to fish, hunt, and watch The Ohio State University Buckeyes. 

He is survived by his wife Amanda (Lynn) House; daughters Audrey, Allie, and Amanda House; parents Juleen (Funni) and Gary Mummey; brothers Brad (Christin) Mummey and Eric Mummey; mother and father in-law Becky and John Lynn; sister in-law Emily (Shawn) Tordi; nephews Dominic Tordi, and soon to be nephew baby Mummey; niece Aurora Newcomer; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends. 

Charles was preceded in death by his father Charles House; and grandparents.

Friends may call Sunday, July 2, 2023, from 1-3 PM and 5-8 PM at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, and from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11 AM Monday, July 3, 2023, in the funeral home.  Pastor Josh Bender will officiate.  Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
