Carl J. Lindahl Jr.

Carl J. Lindahl Jr., age 83, of Sandusky, passed away Tuesday morning, September 17, 2024, at Providence Care Center, Sandusky, following a brief illness.

He was born April 27, 1941, in Sandusky, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1960.  He served in the U.S. Navy and worked for Scott Paper, Sandusky, Automotive Distributors, Sandusky, and Leer/IAC, Huron.  Carl enjoyed boating and fishing, watching the OSU Buckeyes; and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter Britt (Robert) Hageman; son John Lindahl; four grandchildren Robbie, Ethan, Parker, and Jimmy; and several nieces and nephews.

Carl was preceded in death by his wife Jeannine (Bluhm) Lindahl; parents Carl and Ruth (Nelson) Lindahl Sr.; granddaughter Grace Hageman; and sister Alfreda “Louise” Held.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday, September 20, 2024, and from 9 AM until time of services at 10 AM Saturday September 21, 2024, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.  Burial will be in Venice Cemetery.
