Betty J. Hill

Betty J. Hill, age 75, of Huron, passed away Wednesday morning, October 9, 2024, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, following a brief illness.

She was born September 20, 1949, in Breathitt County, KY, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1967.  She was a member of 1St Christian Church, Sandusky, where she loved to help with various church activities.  Betty enjoyed traveling and reading

She is survived by her son Douglas Hill; grandchildren Matthew (Emily) Hill and Hannah (Carl Moreheart) Hill; sisters in law Debbie Bush and Arlene Wahl; brother in-law William Hill; nephew Joseph Bush; and several nieces and nephews. 

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Hill in 2022; parents Fred and Jessie (Partin) Bush; and brothers Paul and Mitch Bush.

At the request of Betty, there will be no services and cremation will take place.  Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
