Bernard E. Napka Jr., age 77, of Vickery, died Tuesday, September 8, 2020, in his residence.
He was born December 18, 1942, in Bellevue, and attended Bellevue High School. Bernard served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Sandusky AMVETS. He worked for Ford Motor Company before becoming an automobile salesman for many years. Bernard enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, and playing cards.
He is survived by his daughter LaVonda (Jason Scroggy) Napka; sons Shawn Napka and Rick (Suzi) Napka; five grandchildren Alyssa, Jessica, Joshua, Kaidyn, and Tatum; one great grandchild Brynleigh; five sisters Mary Ann (Jim) Wobser, Sharon (Mike) Lalond, Melody (Ken) Schlessman, and Susan Schuster; brother-in-law Ron Welch, and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Bernard was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Grace (Seville) Napka Sr.; son Bernard Napka III; and sister Pat Welch.
Private graveside services in Castalia Cemetery will be held at a later date. Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
