Angelo Palmucci, age 92, of Sandusky, peacefully passed away Wednesday November 13, 2024, at the Commons of Providence, Sandusky.
He was born December 29, 1931, in the Republic of San Marino to Armando and Maria (Sabatinni) Palmucci. Angelo immigrated to the United States following WWII. He worked as a skilled mason for various contractors prior to joining and eventually retiring from New Departure, Sandusky. He was a member of the former IAB Club and the Communita Di San Marino Di Detroit. Angelo loved to work in his garden, listen to classical music, and travel to spend time with his family and friends.
He is survived by four sons Carl (Paula) Palmucci, Mark (Michelle) Palmucci, David (Faith) Palmucci, and Joseph (Suzie) Palmucci; five granddaughters Ashlie (Greg) Gowitzka, Morgan (Zakk) Sibley, Kathryn (Tyler) Singer, Lauren Palmucci, and Angelina Palmucci; four great grandsons Luke and James Gowitzka, Angelo “AJ” and William Singer; sister Augustina Palmucci; brother Salvatore (Rosina) Palmucci; and many nieces and nephews.
Angelo was preceded in death by his wife Lois “Jane” (Tipper) Palmucci; parents; sisters Pinetta Roncuzzi and Agatha Duckworth; and brother Sebastian Palmucci.
Private services will be held in Castalia Cemetery at a later date. Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
