William T. Jordan's Obituary

William "Bill" Jordan, age 63, of Castalia, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 9, 2020, in his residence.

He was born August 27, 1956, in Monroe, MI, and was a 1976 graduate of Margaretta High School. He studied welding at Terra Tech, and was a farmer and carpenter most of his life. He loved his family and spending time with them. He was a treasure to all.

Bill is survived by his wife Amy (Ostheimer) Jordan;  three daughters Jennifer (Kerry Workman) Jordan, Jessica (Andrew) Rush, and Ashley Walton; three sons Jeremy (Leanne) Jordan and Joshua (Amanda) Aldrich, and David Walton; 10 grandchildren; mother and father in law JoAnn and Richard Flahiff; five sisters Wanda (Darwin) Moore, Ruth (Alvin) Banks, Judy (Leo) Beier, Pat (Jerry) Legg, and Faye (Tom) Loroff; sisters in law Virginia Jordan, Kathleen (Steven) Tullio, and Nicole Ehrnsberger; brothers in law Edward (Steve) Ostheimer and Jeffrey (Diane) Ostheimer; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Nellie Jordan; brothers Roger and Lewis Jordan; sisters Etta Miracle and Vina Lee Jordan; brother in law Henry Miracle; niece Mary Lou Munk; nephews Robert Jordan, Kevin and Jeff Beier.

Due to the Coronavirus, private family services will by held Monday, May 18, 2020 at Faith Memorial Church, 1320 E Strub Road, Sandusky. Burial will be in Sandhill Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held after the pandemic.  Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.ransomfuneralhome.com.  Monetary donations can be made in Bill's name to Cancer Service on Perkins Avenue.
