Wendy L. Salyers, age 71, of Sandusky, passed away Tuesday evening, February 21, 2023, at her residence following a brief illness.

She was born February 20, 1952, in Sandusky, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1970.  She was a member of The Chapel, Sandusky, and retired from Erie County Care Facility, Huron.  Wendy enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time with family; especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Gerald Salyers; daughter Sarah (Aaron) Lochotzki; son Jason (Kelly) Salyers; five grandchildren Hunter and Isaac Lochotzki, and Olivia, Carson, and Elliott Salyers; sister Joan Schuster; brother Robert Masten; two sisters in-law Dorothy Faye (Terry Scherf) Ledwell, and Lillian (Arnold) Graves; and several nieces and nephews.

Wendy was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Armella (Hobert) Masten

Friends may call from 1 PM until time of memorial service at 4 PM, Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.  Pastor Todd Nielson will officiate.
