Wayne F. Beese, age 79, of Vickery, died Monday morning, May 15, 2017, in his residence following a brief illness.

He was born July 2, 1937, in Sandusky, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1957.  Wayne served in the U.S. Army and worked at Ford Motor Company for 30 years, retiring in 1994.

He is survived by his daughter Ellen Anderson; two step daughters Wanda Demory and Sandy Smith; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; sister Clara McCullough; and two brothers Ronald Beese and David Beese.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Beese; parents Harry and Albertin (Nutzki) Beese; step daughter Rita Ritchey; and sister Sharon Clark.

Friends may call from 10 AM until time of services at 12 Noon, Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.  Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery at a later date.
