(Adams) Keller
June 14, 1942 – September 18, 2017
Wanda K. Keller, age 75, of Sandusky, was called home to heaven, while surrounded by her family, Monday morning, September 18, 2017, after a lengthy illness.
She was born June 14, 1942, in Waverly, OH, to Harold and Betty (Hoskins) Adams. Her family moved to Castalia when she was in junior high school and she graduated from Margaretta High School in 1960. On February 16, 1963, Wanda married her high school sweetheart, James Keller, and raised four children Randy, Fred, Theresa, and Ed; she also has seven grandchildren. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was everything to her. In her own words: "My family is what defines my life". She will be remembered most for the love and kindness she showed others. Wanda retired in 2003, from Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, where she worked as a surgical secretary. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sandusky.
She is survived by her husband James Keller; daughter Theresa (Jay) Muratore; two sons Fred (Laura) Keller and Ed (Carrie) Keller; seven grandchildren Katie (Sean) McWhorter, Christiana Keller, Heather (Justin) Weyer, Dominick Muratore, Kohlman Keller, Kennedi Keller, and Ava Keller; sister Karen (Donny) Ebner, brother Ken (Sandy) Adams; sisters-in-law Patricia Hofstatter and Cindy Keller; brothers-in-law Dee Dee (Jeanette) Keller, Tom (Judy) Keller, Gary (Carol) Keller, Greg (Karen) Keller, Keith (Morrie) Keller, Mark (Lynn) Keller, and Jeff Keller; and many nieces and nephews.
Wanda was preceded in death by her son Randy Keller; daughter in law Kenna Purvis Keller; parents Harold and Betty (Hoskins) Adams; sister Phyllis Heinzerling, brother Harry Adams, father and mother in-law Lawrence and Ethel (Good) Keller; sisters-in-law Donna Adams and June Blaksley; brothers-in-law Charles Keller, George Hofstatter, Ike Blaksley, John Heinzerling; nephews Tony Keller, John-John Keller, Rick Keller, and niece Amanda Carter.
Friends may call from 3-8 PM Thursday, September 21, 2017, at Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S.Washington St., Castalia, where closing prayers will be recited on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 9:15 AM with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky, OH, at 10:00 AM. Father Phil Feltman will officiate. Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
