Shirley A. Smith, age 59, of Vickery, died Sunday Afternoon, March 19, 2017, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, following a lengthy illness.

She was born December 10, 1957, in Sandusky, and graduated from Margaretta High School.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sandusky, and the area women's pool league.  Shirley loved her family and taking of her children.

She is survived by her two sons Nathan (Nikki) Smith, Vickery, and AJ Oeder, Vickery; father Mike Smith; four sisters Linda Smith, MI, Jennifer Woolf, Carey, OH, Karen Ritter, Vickery, and Melva Barenbrugee, N.C.; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat "Smokie".

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Ned Oeder; and mother Glena Skaggs.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 24, 2017, at 11 AM, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Bardshar Rd. Sandusky, OH 44870.  Rev. Philip Gardner will officiate.  Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
