Ryan C. Kinney, age 35, of Sandusky, was lost to those who loved him on Thursday, August 6, 2020, after a long struggle with addiction.  He was caring, happy, and full of life until his last moments.  Though he was physically lost, he will be carried with us in spirit.

He was born April 30, 1985, in Fremont, and grew up in Bay View; while attending Margaretta High School.  Ryan worked hauling asphalt for the last several years.   He will be missed dearly by family and friends.

He is survived by his parents James and Crystal (Myers), Bay View; daughters Riley Kinney and Laila Ford and their mother Nicole; fiancé Melissa Murphy, Sandusky, and her two children Saphira and Jeremiah; two brothers Jered Kinney and Derek (Liz) Kinney, Clyde; grandmother Esther Cole, Fremont; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers Orville Myers and Jim Cole; paternal grandparents Allen and Mary Kinney.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020, at 10 AM, at Castalia Cemetery, where he will be buried.  Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
