Rose M. Miller, age 79, of Castalia, died Saturday morning, May 19, 2018, at her residence.

She was born August 1, 1938, in Sandusky, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 1956.  Later that year, she hired into Ford Motor Co.; where she met and later married the love of her life, Harry (Bob) Miller, retiring together after 31 years in 1987.  Rose was a member of the Sandusky Church of God, and enjoyed garage sales, sewing, crafting, wintering in Ft. Meade, FL, and being outside.  She was an avid golfer, earning two Hole-in-Ones over her career.  Rose was loved by everyone and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her two sons Jeffrey Miller, Bellevue, and William (Teresa ) Miller, Canton, GA; five grandchildren Nick (Tabitha) Miller, Nina Chelminiac, Paige Miller, Brooke Miller, and Alex Miller, two sisters Elta Bevier and Barb (Ed) Eversole; brother John Garlock; and was the "favorite aunt" to many nieces and nephews.

Rose was preceded in death by her loving husband Harry Robert Miller, in 2010; daughter Cindy L. Miller, in 2014; parents Abraham and Leota (Greggs) Garlock; brothers Paul, Richard, Clifford, Roy, Abraham Jr., and Jim Garlock; sisters Mary Walker, Phyllis Eversole, and Naomi Gearheart.

Friends may call from 4-7 PM, Monday, May 21, 2018, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at 12 Noon, at the Sandusky Church of God, 1018 W. Bogart Rd., Sandusky.  Pastor Sam Studder will officiate.  Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
