Robin P. Diebold, age 60, of Castalia, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023, in his residence.

He was born May 12, 1963, in Sandusky, and attended Margaretta High School.  Robin proudly joined the U.S. Navy when he was 17, and served on the U.S.S. John F. Kennedy aircraft carrier for 4 years.  He worked for the Sandusky Coal Docks for over 30 years.  Robin enjoyed walking his dogs, attending car shows, spending time with his family, and he loved going fishing for the last 30 years at the coal docks.

He is survived by his daughter Amber Diebold; son Michael Diebold; granddaughter Brielle Laughlin; mother Sharon (Perry) Diebold; two brothers Dan Diebold and Paul (Dawn) Diebold; nieces Rachel and Zoey; and nephew Zach.

Robin was preceded in death by his father Russell Diebold.

Friends may call Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 12 Noon until 2 PM at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.
