Robert G. Yost, age 73, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 18, 2021, in his residence.

He was born April 7, 1948, in Sandusky and graduated from Margaretta High School in 1966.  He owned and operated Yost Coil Cleaning for over 35 years.  Robert served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the AMVETS; he also was a member of the Orioles.  He enjoyed playing scratch off tickets, coloring, fishing, and playing euchre; and he was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by two daughters Paula Lilje and Angela (Perry) McGraw; 8 grandchildren Christopher Lilje, Robert Daniels, Hope McGraw, Makayla McGraw, Michael Daniels, Cassidy Budd, Caden Budd, and Tre McGraw; and great grandson Jaxson Lilje.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife Joyce (Gamble) Yost, in 2020; daughter Shonda Daniels; and brother George "Michael" Yost.

A celebration of life will be on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 4-7 PM at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St. Castalia, OH 44824.  A private burial will be held later in Castalia Cemetery.
