Retha "Pauline" Giles's Obituary

On Sunday July 13, 2025, heaven got even brighter when Retha "Pauline" Giles went home to be with her Lord and Savior and she is now reunited with her husband, Everett.

She was born in Waynesville WV on August 9th 1936 to Christopher and Velva Mullens. Pauline married her forever love Everett R. Giles on Sept. 20, 1952. They were married for 69 years. She loved working at American Crayon and Hinde and Dauch, WestVa Co. She was a loving and giving wife and mother, and loved spending time singing to worship Jesus. She loved to garden, can food, loved to cook and bake biscuits. Pauline was humble, kind and loving and the "best listener" anyone could ever meet.  She loved unconditionally!

Her family was her pride and joy, including 5 children who will dearly miss her; Kathie (Allan, deceased) Mueller, Carol Hay (Donald Hay, Jr. deceased), Allen Giles, Tim (Lisa) Giles and Rodney Giles. Her 8 grandchildren include; Carrie Lane, Rob (Cali) Griggs, Corey (Angel) Hay, Jessica Ryan Hay Springer, Jennifer Hay, Jared (Melissa) Mueller, Carlene (Brad) Bibb and Madison Trimble. Nineteen great grandchildren;  Bradley Griggs, Donovan Glock, Garrett Glock, Sasha Haas, Zachary Haas, Adalynn Haas, Shianna (Tanner) Wood, Dakota Hay,  Damion Hay, Devon Hay, Jayda Springer, Jaxen Springer, Makyah (Derek) Yeager, Meridian (Austin) Caster,  Taytum Bibb, Brayleigh Bibb, Ameliah Bibb, Isaac Bibb, and Ezekiel Bibb.  Thirteen great great grandchildren; Jayce Griggs, Raegan Griggs, Josephine Glock, Rhett Glock, RosaLee Wood, Tanner Wood, Haydon Wood, Benson Caster, Colton Everett Caster, Kamden Caster, Zoey Yeager, Roman Yeager, and Devlynn Hay. Her brother Grover Mullins survives her and many nieces and nephews

She is a shining example of what God's love is in the world.  We as a family, and all those who have known her, are blessed to the fullest.  Her family only hopes now that we have blessed her anywhere near as much as she has blessed us.

She was preceded in death by her husband Everett R. Giles on November 10, 2021, and he is deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her sister Erma, and brother Golden; sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-laws, nieces and nephews, and granddaughter Mercedes Hay.
