Ralph H. Kimberlin, age 89, of Castalia, passed away Wednesday morning, May 17, 2023, at Admirals Pointe Nursing Home, Huron.

He was born March 20, 1934, in LaFollette, TN, and worked for Ford Motor Company for 37 years, starting in 1952 in the Monroe, MI, plant, then transferring to the Sandusky plant in 1956.  He was a member the UAW and in his free-time Ralph enjoyed working on and restored old cars, going to car shows, and building houses.

He is survived by his daughter Margie (Michael) Schippel, Sandusky; sons Dennis Kimberlin, Castalia, and Robert Kimberlin, Sandusky; two grandchildren Amy Schippel and Tom Schippel; two great grandchildren Tyler and Logan Schippel; one brother Ronald Kimberlin; and many nieces and nephews.

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Nylas (Welch) Kimberlin; parents Levi and Pearlie Lou (Childress) Kimberlin; and 11 brothers and sisters.

Friends may call Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.  Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
