Patty June (Selke) Swartz, age 91, passed away Monday morning, September 14, 2026, at Providence Care Center, Sandusky.

She was a beloved mother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. Patty service 18 years at Margaretta Schools as an aide (her dream job). She also worked patient care at the Lutheran Memorial Home, and then returned to work clerical at Townsend School.

She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Martha (Martin) Selke; grandparents; former in-laws Robert and Florence Swartz, Emily (Rowe) Egbert, special uncles and aunts Aschel and Catherine Deleruyello, Dud and Pam Andres, Charles and Sophia (Sally) Andres, Henry and Helen (Selke) Kaufman, John (Lucille) Martin, and Art Martin.

Patty is survived by a sister Martha Jean (John) Leimeister, three children Randy (Jenny) Swartz, Sandy (Larry) Palmer, and Scott (Sharon) Swartz; grandchildren Tracey (Zack) Kramp, Ryan (Stacey) Palmer, John Swartz, Kristen (Josh) Wuchter, Cameron Swartz, Casey (Brianna) Swartz, Megan (Christopher) Breece, and Connor Swartz; and six great grandchildren Erin, Leah, Jackson, Alex, Olivia, and Sophia.

Friends may call Friday September 18, 2026, from 4 PM until time of services at 7 PM at Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Pastor Jen Herrmann will officiate.
