Pamela J. (Walker) Ries, age 60, of Sandusky, passed away Saturday evening, August 10, 2019, at the Parkvue Community, Sandusky, following a lengthy battle with cancer.

She was born on June 9th, 1959 in Sandusky. Pam graduated from Margaretta high school in 1977, and went on to retire from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of employment. In life, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends; she loved the outdoors and went on many camping adventures. She also loved her Bichon's, her hobby of crochet, and she was an avid gardener. Pam will be remembered for her mild manner and her love of life, family, friends, and animals.

She is survived by her husband Jeff Ries; mother Norma (Davisson) Walker; brother Charles (Sherrie) Walker; three nieces Lindsay Walker, Emily (Justin) Wolery, and Kaylee (Ken) Clagett; great niece Rachel Wolery; great nephews Wyatt and Hunter Wolery; and special friends Teresa Schmidt and Georgette McCullough

Pamela was preceded in death by her father Donald Walker; and father and mother in-law James and Mary Lou Ries.

Friends may call from 4-7 PM Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, where services will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2019, at 10 AM.  Chaplain Melvin Sayler will officiate.  Burial will be in Bloomingville Cemetery.
