Nancy L. Collins, age 80, of Sandusky, took the hand of her Savior Jesus on Saturday, August 12, 2017, following a brief illness. She joined her husband of 50 years, Lee E. Collins, and now both are together with the Lord.

Nancy was born Sept. 27, 1936, to Arthur and Dorothy (Brown) Kuns, who preceded her in death.  She graduated from Sandusky High School in 1954, working for the Sandusky Register until becoming what she did best, a Homemaker.

Those left behind to celebrate and keep her alive in memory are her daughter, Audrey Collins Zoellner; her grandchildren, Wesley Zoellner and Danielle Zoellner; her brother, Arthur J. (Marge) Kuns of Galion; her nephews, David (Jeanne) Kuns and Scott (Jennifer) Kuns both of Galion; her niece, Kara (Tom) Sovacool of Galion; and her "sister from another mother", Leah "Peaches" (Tom) VanAman along with great-nephews, nieces and many friends.

She loved Jesus, her family, and oh boy, her Ohio State Football!  O-H…!! Through many health challenges, she lived an example of being selfless and joyful of life, never complaining, while showing a quiet example of Christ. Her smile will be missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 pm until the time of memorial service at 5 pm on Thursday, August 17, 2017, at Faith Memorial Church, 1920 E. Strub Road, Sandusky, OH.  Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
