Nancy Delphia Brummitt, age 102, of Castalia, OH, died Sunday, May 8, in Providence Care Center, Sandusky, OH.

She was born Aug. 30, 1913, in Virginia,  was of the protestant faith, a church goer, and a very loving mother.

She is survived by 2 daughters Aretta (Vince) Souza of Bradenton, FL, and Janice (Maury) Redford of Parrish, FL.; 4 sons Burnice (Peggy) Brummitt of New London, OH, Bobby (Shirley) Brummitt of Castalia, OH, Eldon Brummitt of Collins, OH, and Willard (Linda) Brummitt of Castalia, OH; 16 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; one sister Lazelle Richardson; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Brummitt; her parents Walter "Pete" and Ann (Salyers) Meade; daughter Angeline Ritchey; 5 brothers; 5 sisters; and 3 grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5-7 PM Thurs., May 12, in Sturgill Funeral Home, 310 Sixth St., Coeburn, VA, where services will be at 7PM. Pastor Les Ritchey will officiate. Burial will be Friday at 11 AM in Edwards Cemetery in Coeburn.
