Maxie F. Marshall, age 81, of Sandusky, passed away Friday morning, September 2, 2022, in her residence, following a brief illness.

She was born March 13, 1941, in Coburn VA, and attended Coburn High School.  She was a member of the Sandusky Community Church of the Nazarene, Sandusky.

She is survived by her husband Douglas Marshall; daughter Karen (Daniel) Minor; sons Rodney (Rhonda) Marshall and Gregory (Sherri) Marshall; five grandchildren Cory, Brett, and Todd Minor and Ryan (Melissa) and Amanda Marshall; two step grandchildren Vinny and Jacob Holeton; two great grandchildren Brantley and Oliver Marshall; three sisters Minda, Brenda, and Tina; and several nieces and nephews.

Maxie was preceded in death by her parents Emery and Alta (McCellan) Buchanan; sister Linda; and brothers Lenzy and Floyd.

Friends may call from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.  Pastor Cora Freeh will officiate.  Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
