Mary Ann Wightman, age 79, of Castalia, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, following a lengthy illness.

She was born January 14, 1941, in Sandusky, and graduated from Margaretta High School in 1959.  She worked for Walmart, retiring after many years of service.   Mary Ann was a Girl Scout leader for many years and loved to go camping and play cards.  She was a member of Vacationland Travelers Club and Good Sam Club.

She is survived by her husband Dale Wightman; daughter Wendy Wightman; son Allen (Tracy) Wightman; two grandchildren Brendon and Tia; two sisters Joann (Tony) Ramon and Elizabeth (David) Wills; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Esther (Wahl) Hummel; and brother William Hummel.

Private graveside services will be at a later date.  Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
