Mary F. Hoffman, 78, of Castalia, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, following a brief illness.

She was born May 24, 1942, in Auburn, NY, and was a graduate of Genoa High School in New York. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Castalia, and enjoyed playing cards with her ladies card club.

Mary is survived by her son Will "Belinda" Hoffman of Sandusky; 4 grandchildren Crystal, Kayla, Ashley, and Austin; sister Jane "Karl" Lehrer of Huron; brother John "Della" Milliman of Orefield, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Willard "Bill" Hoffman in 2017, and her son Gregory John Hoffman in 2006.

There will be no visitation, graveside services for the family will be held in Castalia Cemetery. Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements
