Marvin S. Griffin, age 75, of Crystal Rock, died Wednesday morning, July 10, 2019, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.

He was born August 24, 1943, in Sandusky, and served in the U.S. Navy.  He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.   Marvin worked at Ford Motor Company for 30 years and was Police Officer for many years, serving on 3 police departments; Put-in-Bay, Castalia, and Margaretta Township.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda Gail (Gibbs) Griffin; sons Bryan (Jackie) Griffin Sr., and Walt Anthony Griffin; grandchildren Bryan Griffin Jr., Bradley Griffin, Dallas (Bryan) Clark, Wyatt Griffin, Marvin Griffin, and Olivia Griffin; sisters Marge (Robert) Gowitzka, Katie Kessler, Wendy (Jo) Petrick, and Brenda Smith Griffin; brothers Rich (Rose Mary) Griffin, and Ronney (Sue) Griffin; and many nieces and nephews.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents Bryan and Laurel (Keller) Griffin; sisters Earlene Jacobs, Joanne Ruth Brown, Carol Routson (Mullins), and Noreen Griffin-in infancy; brothers Otto, Louis, Daniel, Billy, and Paul-in infancy Griffin.
