Marion E. Hurst, age 93, of Castalia, died Saturday morning, February 25, 2017, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.

She was born February 13, 1924, in Sandusky, to the late Lydia and Albert Yeckle and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sandusky.

She is survived by two daughters Patricia Hurst and Barbara Welch; two grandchildren Suzzane (Steve) Gwinner and Thomas (Terrin) Welch; two great grandchildren Shelby and Sarah Gwinner; brother Lee Yeckle; and several nieces and nephews.

Marion was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Hurst, 2002; infant sister Dorothy; and sister Florence Fitz.

Friends may call from 12 Noon until time of services at 1 PM Monday, February 27, 2017, at Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.  Father Joe Steinbauer will officiate.  Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
