SANDUSKY – Margaret F. (McAuliffe) Tucker, 89, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Firelands Hospital, Sandusky. She was born Nov 29, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA and lived in the Sandusky area for most of her life. She worked for Eaton Plastics of Bellevue for many years until retiring. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed puzzles, reading, and bird watching. She is survived by her two granddaughters, Seren Tucker of Clyde and Adrianna Swain of Akron; 3 great-grandchildren, Bryce and Brendin Morris, and Jayce Slack; and her very close friend for over 30 years, Karen Faust of Sandusky; She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Tucker in 1994; her daughter, Cheryl Tucker in 2008; her parents, Leo J and Edith McAuliffe; sisters, Maryjane Stepnick and Rosemary Finucan; and brothers, Leo H., Daniel, Robert, John, Lewis McAuliffe and Dudley Montegue. Friends may call Wednesday, March 29th from 10:30 a.m. until time of service 1 p.m. at the Ransom Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 610 S. Washington St, Castalia.  John C. Adams will officiate. Burial will follow at Castalia Cemetery.
