Linda L. Roe, age 74, of Castalia, passed away Friday afternoon, September 23, 2022, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.

She was born March 12, 1948, in Buffalo, NY, where she graduated from Lafayette High School in 1966.  In 1974, she moved to Bassett, then Bristol WI, to start a farm and raise her family. She later took a job at Southern Colony, home for the developmentally disabled, where she would work for 20 years before retiring. While in Bristol, WI, she was a member of the Bristol Driftbusters and volunteered for 4H. Following retirement, she moved to Castalia, OH when she married her husband, Larry Roe in 2001. Here, she worked at the American Legion, Sandusky, for 20 years.  Linda was a very active member of the Castalia Congregational U.C.C., and an avid reader.  Linda loved to take long drives with her husband in the fall to see all the leaves changing colors and she was a consistent donor to many charities.

She is survived by her husband Larry Roe; children Lisa Drennan, David McIsaac, Tasha Rivas, Kenneth Duttweiler, and Billie (Matt) Mojonnier; step children Michelle Roe and Stephanie Roe; many many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Yvonne (Sam Guercio) Johnson; brothers Richard (Kim) Johnson and Barry Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Joyce (Custred) Johnson; step son James Roe; sister and brother in-law Darlene and Joe College; and brothers Kenneth and Randall Johnson.
