Linda S. Jett, 61, of Castalia, died Monday, Dec. 23, at her residence following a lengthy illness

She was born February 17, 1958, in Monroeville, and was a 1976 graduate of Monroeville High School. She was the fiscal officer for Groton Township and sexton for Sand Hill Cemetery for many years.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Monroeville; the Groton Township Auxiliary; and was a Girl Scout Leader for several years.

Linda is survived by her husband Kerry, to whom she was married for 40 years; daughter Ashley (Kyle Lloyd) Jett; son Bradley (Lara Gross) Jett; 2 grandchildren Cooper and Autumn; her mother Carol Jump of Monroeville; brother Jeff (Jan) Jump; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Jay Jump.

Memorial services will be held at 11am Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, in the Groton Township Complex, 9414 Portland Road, Castalia, OH, followed by a Celebration of Life until 2pm. The Rev. Steve Trimble will officiate. Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, Castalia, is assisting the family.
