Keith S. Whitmore, 61, of Castalia, died Monday night, Nov. 21, 2016, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.

He was born Dec. 11, 1954, in Bay Village, OH. He was a graduate of Lorain High School, and did course work at LCC State. He was a robotics operator at Ford Motor Co. for 32 years.

He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Kay Fedor, to whom he was married for 14 years; parents Anthony and Twila Whitmore; daughter Dawn Marie Whitmore Gantt; sister Connie (Paul) Davis; brother Kurt Whitmore; step daughter Wendy (Nick) Weinheimer; step son Chad (Mary Anne) Mitchell; grandchildren Hailey Whitmore Gantt, Janelle and Abraham Mitchell, and Christian and Zach Weinheimer; and his dogs Lucy and Desi.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am today, Wednesday,  Nov. 23, 2016, in Castalia Cemetery, with Deacon Jeff Claar officiating.  Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of arrangements.
