Kathleen S. Hilton, 79, of Castalia, died Monday morning, July 10, 2023, in the Willows at Bellevue, following a lengthy illness.

She was born February 10, 1944, in Sandusky and was a 1962 graduate of Sandusky High School. She was a graduate of Providence School of Nursing and was a registered nurse for almost 40 years, retiring in 2007. She loved camping and donating to animal shelters, and was an avid reader.

Kathleen is survived by her husband William Hilton; son Christopher (Rebecca) Hilton; 3 grandchildren Tyler (Kelsey) Hilton, Noah Hilton, and Kennedi Hilton; 2 great grandchildren Teagan and Tinley Hilton; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Emmett and Dorothe Callan and son Michael Hilton in 1990.

Private family services will be held at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, on Friday, July 14, 2023.  Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
