Jeff Grahl, age 70, of Castalia, died Saturday morning, July 23, 2016, at his residence.

He was born June 4, 1946, in Sandusky, and was a 1964 graduate of Townsend High School, where he played basketball. He owned and operated Stoke's Meat Market in Castalia, for over 30 years. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran.

Jeff is survived by his wife, the former Linda Karbler, to whom he was married for 52 years; daughter Brooke (Ted) Keller; granddaughter Paige (Charlie) Chesser; sister Jeannette Eggert; brothers Larry (Kay) Grahl, and Dennis Grahl; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Christine Grahl.

Friends may call from 9:00-11:00 am Monday, July 25, 2016, in Grace Lutheran Church, 203 S. Washington St., Castalia, where services will be held at 11:00 am. The Rev. Kathleen Suggitt will officiate and burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
