James Bernie Page, 76, of Bellevue, peacefully passed on January 6, 2022, in Stein Hospice, surrounded by family. James won a tough, 13 year battle with Parkinson's.

He was a loving Husband, Father, Papaw, Brother, Uncle, and Cherished friend to many.

He was born September 20, 1946 in Coeburn, VA. In 1965, after marring the love of his life, they relocated to Sandusky, Ohio, where he worked at various places as a laborer, and retired from Bechtel McLaughlin.

James is survived by his children, Jimmie (Michelle) Page of Vickery, Larry (Tamara) Page of Castalia, Theresa (Larry) Mingus of Bellevue, Pamela (Kevin) Gibbs of Vickery, siblings; Mary Keith, Ernest Page, and Margaret (Jimmy) Lee all of VA; grandchildren, Timothy Page, Crystal (William) Scheid, Katherine (Chris) West, Scott Page, Hannah and Emily Mingus, Justin Page, Jordan (Kendal) Aldrich, Jakeb (Tara) Aldrich, Dixie (Eric) Gildenmeister, Hunter Gibbs; great grandchildren, Keegan Scheid, Parker and Payton West, Kyle, Brooke, McKenzie, and Wyatt Page, Tommie, Landon, Jaidan and Kendalyn Aldrich, Oliver Aldrich, Roman, Gideon, and Theodore Gildenmeister; special sister-in-laws Nadine Mann of Vickery and Nina Page VA.

James was preceded in death by his Wife of 54 years, Geraldine; parents, Wythe and Frances (Renie) Page; brothers, Jeffery, Kermit, Darvin, and Douglas Page; sisters, Alice Marie, and Peggy Sue Page; and brother-in-laws, Hubert Keith, Roger Mann, and Bobby Mann.

Friends may call from 4 PM until the time of services at 7 PM, Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.  Pastor Harvey and Sam Studer will officiate.
