Herman C. Daniels, 85, of Bellevue, died Saturday morning, July 8, 2023, at his residence.

He was born November 7, 1937, in Welch, WV, and was a 1956 graduate of Sandusky High School. He was a supervisor at Ford Motor Co. He attended Wayside Temple in Castalia, and First Freewill Baptist Church in Clyde. He enjoyed wood working, oil painting, yard work, and gardening.

Herman is survived by his wife, the former Mabel Johnson; daughter Darla Daniels; son Stephen Daniels; grandchildren Ashley (Dave) Keegan and Donavon (Courtney) Daniels; great grandchildren Layla Hackenburg and Gage Klenk; brother Charles (Carol) Daniels; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Myrel Daniels; brother Paul Daniels and brother in infancy Eugene Daniels.

Friends may call from 10am Thursday, July 13, 2023, until time of services at 11am at the Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Pastor Rusty Yost and Pastor Roger Rowlands will officiate and burial will follow in Parkhurst Cemetery.
