Helen (Adkins) Manus, age 83, of Clyde, passed away Wednesday afternoon, May 31, 2023, at her residence following a brief illness.

She was born February 7, 1940, in Prudent, TN, and retired from Margaretta Schools as a school bus driver for many years.  She was a member of Compass Church of God, Castalia, and loved spending time with her family and cooking for all of them.

She is survived by her daughter Debbie Johnson Manus; son Charles (Robin) Manus; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchildren; sister Barb Wright; and many nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband LB Manus; son James Manus; parents Henry Adkins and Ethel Jackson; brothers Roy and Donald Adkins; and 3 great grandchildren.

Friends may call from 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM Monday, June 5, 2023, at Bellevue Assembly Church, 770 Kilbourne St. Bellevue, where services will be on held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 11 AM.  Pastor Ben Patrick will officiate.  Burial will be in Parkhurst Cemetery. Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
