Faye L. Walters, age 101, of Castalia, passed away Monday afternoon, February 20, 2023, in Bellevue Care Center, Bellevue, following a brief illness.

She was born March 13, 1921, in Bloomville, OH, and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sandusky.  She enjoyed tending to her large garden every summer and picking vegetables, as she loved to cook and can food.

She is survived by her grandchildren John Fox, Rosemary Drown, Mike Fox, Faye Forbes, Bob Fox Jr., Don Fox, Bill Fox, Cameron Fox, and Conner Fox; nine great grandchildren; two daughter in-laws Beverly Fox and Wendy Fox; and several nieces and nephews.

Faye was preceded in death by her 1st husband Jacob Fox, in 1956; 2nd husband Curtis Walters, in 2015; two sons Donald Fox and Robert Fox; parents Adam and Bessie (Shock) Minzer; two sisters Florence and Dorothy; and three brothers Cleat, Ray, and Art.

Friends may call from 9:30 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM Friday, February 24, 2023, at Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
