Dorothy L. Haerr, age 77, of Sandusky, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, following a lengthy illness.

She was born August 5, 1944, in Sandusky, and graduated from Margaretta High School.  She was a medical accountant for NOMS for many years and was a member of Fathers Heart Family Church, Sandusky. Dorothy loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed watching sports on TV, especially tennis.

She is survived by her daughter Teresa (Jim) Mazzarini; son Duane Haerr; five grandchildren Derek (Jessica) Haerr, Nicholas (Kati) Mazzarini, Bradley (Joclyn) Mazzarini, Hunter (Jenna) Haerr, and Jordan Haerr; two great grandchildren Adalynn and Brynlee Haerr; two sisters Audrey Day and Betti (Steve) Sidoti; three brothers Felix (Crusita) Sosa, Wally (Linda) Sosa, and Rick Sosa; and many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Felix and Mary (Gutierrez) Sosa; brother Jim Sosa; and brother in-law Dell Day.

Friends may call from 9 AM until time of memorial service at 10 AM, Friday April 29, 2022, at Fathers Heart Family Church, 2211 Mills St. Sandusky.  Pastor Tony Robinson will officiate.  Burial will follow at Castalia Cemetery.
