Doris Jean Mariea, age 74, of Castalia, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016, in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born March 10, 1942, in Sandusky, was a graduate of Bellevue High School and Bowling Green State University with her LPN license, and retired from Parkview Nursing Home.
Doris is survived by her children Kathy Herman of Toledo, Keith (Traci)  Weyer of Castalia, Paula Weyer of Bellevue, Kevin (Connie) Weyer of Castalia; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and her sister Alice Weyer,
Doris was preceded in death by her husband Neil Mariea, her son Brett, parents Paul and Eula Dillery, sister Joyce Demshok,  brother Allen Dillery, sister Paula Dillery, and brother Sonny Dillery.
Friends may call from 10 am Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, until the time of a memorial service at 11 am, in Grace Lutheran Church, 203 S. Washington St., Castalia, with the Rev. Kathleen Suggitt officiating. Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of arrangements.                                                          In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, or to Stein Hospice Services, 1200 Sycamore Line., Sandusky, OH 44870.
