Doris M. Johnson, age 80, of Castalia, passed away December 29th 2021, at Stein Hospice Care, Sandusky, after a brief illness.

She was born September 17, 1941, in Erie, PA, to the late Esther Goodman- Johnson and Raymond Johnson. Doris moved to Castalia, Ohio in 1974, and resided there most of her life. She was employed by GE locomotive plant in Erie, PA, Lyman Boat Company, Sandusky, she retired from Delphi Sandusky, The Toledo Hydormatic Plant, and Sandusky Limited.

She is survived by her son Thomas Johnson (Jennifer) Castalia; two granddaughters Riley Johnson Bellevue, NE, and Reese Johnson Castalia; sisters Carolyn Yaple Erie, PA, Bette (Glenn) Ransom Castalia,  and Hilda Parker Sandusky; sister in law Patricia Johnson Brooksville, FL, brother in law Robert Siple Falls Creek, PA, and many nieces and nephews.

Doris was proceeded in death by her parents Esther and Raymond Johnson, siblings Raymond Johnson Jr., Donna Fickenworth, Annette Siple, Keith Johnson, Tommy Johnson, V. Avalon Bloomberg; brother in law Chuck Parker; and sister in law Norma Johnson.

A celebration of life will be held in the springtime.  Ransom Funeral & Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of the arrangements.
